Chef Fred's Black and Blue sliders With Cherry Tomato Salad
Serves: 4

1 pint cherry or grape tomatoes
2 teaspoons olive oil
3/4 cup Gorgonzola cheese crumbled, divided
2 tablespoons cracked black pepper, divided
2Tbl Chef and the Fatman Zesty Love Rub
3/4 pound extra-lean ground beef
8 dinner rolls or small hamburger buns

Preheat Big Green Egg or grill to medium-high.

put griddle or flat cast iron pan on grill and let it get hot, like 550ยบ

Cut tomatoes in half and combine in bowl with the oil, 1/4 cup Gorgonzola cheese crumbles and 1/2 tablespoon cracked pepper.

Combine beef and remaining cheese in another bowl.

Mix well with your hands and shape into eight small patties. Sprinkle both sides with remaining Pepper & Chef and the Fatman Zesty Love Rub.

Grill to desired doneness, about 2- 3 minutes per side for medium, less for medium rare

Place in buns. Serve with the tomatoes.
