Chocolate Chip Cookie

1/2 c softened butter
1/2 c sugar
5 tbsp brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon vanilla
1 lg egg
3/4c flour
1/8 teaspoon baking soda
1 pinch salt
8 ounces Great Chocolate(Giradelli)


Preheat oven to 325.
Place butter and both sugars in a mixing bowl and cream until smooth.
Add the vanilla and egg.
Sift all dry ingredients and add a little at a time.
Toss in the broken chocolate and mix well.
Refrigerate dough for 1 hour.
spoon out 1/2 tbsp of dough on greased baking sheets.
Bake 12-15 min.
Allow to cool (if you can).
