Arnaud's is more than just fine dining, it has a cigar bar, plenty of room, rich history with a fabulous Mardi Gras museum. This is a MUST stop on your culinary journey through the French Quarter. Owners Archie and Jane Casbarian and their children Katy and Archie Jr. have maintained the class, the integrity and the rich history of this New Orleans treasure. Executive Chef Tommy DiGiovanni rocks in the kitchen and has done a fabulous job retaining and embellishing on the culinary artistry that has made Arnaud's famous. If you want a real treat, make a reservation at Arnaud's and have Charles, a true Maitre'd, bedazzle you with his charm and style. If something more casual strikes your fancy try the oyster bar or the more relaxed atmosphere of Remoulade a casual Creole cafe. Open late and serving anything from gourmet pizza's to po' boys and dogs to burgers, fear not Executive Chef Tommy DiGiovanni has his masterful hand here also making sure your casual fare will be memorable. Add a glass fronted kitchen, the famous Casbarian family flare and there you have Remoulade. We were there several times in three days...it's that good.

Morton's The Steakhouse- When in New Orleans and you crave GREAT steak and impeccable service or you just want to be wined and dined in white cloth elegance visit GM Vedran Komazec and Executive Chef Donald Mutin, Sr. for a truly memorable dining experience. A quiet intimate bar with superb service is just a bonus as you wait for your guests or just unwind from a long day of sightseeing or business. This dynamic duo and their equally dynamic staff will make your evening one to remember....try the incredible shrimp cocktail...the shrimp are so huge you may need someone to help you pick it up, it is boiled to perfection and gives you a mouthwatering snap when you bite into it....a must try!

Hubig's pies are another must have whenever you are in the New Orleans area. This family run operation has stayed true to their calling regardless of what Mother Nature put them through...Hubig's pies has been there, and will continue to be there, providing the wonderful fresh glazed fried pies that has been a constant source of comfort and fond memories for New Orleanians for over 70 years. We warn you , we are not repsonsible for cravings you will have after trying your first Hubig's pie. Eat at your own risk! I wish we could share with you all of the very personal stories people shared with "Drew" Ramsey (family member) as he sat at our table during an interview we did in July....Hubig's pies are really New Orleans.

Eat, drink and indulge what more could you want to do when in New Orleans? Jackson Restaurant makes that part of their logo. Chef Michael Brewer isn't going to serve you the same Creole or Cajun faire like so many others, he is going to start you out with a "free tasting" of a tempting creative delicacy and tease you with the "perfect" wine sample to showcase their 200 wine varities and their attention to the proper pairings....sounds good....then why not try the flash fried escargot with jackson bordelaise, or, the veal medallions over a mushroom frittata with lump crabmeat hollandaise, possibly the double cut pork chop with roasted red pepper aioli & port cranberry coulis is more to your liking. Whatever your desire, be assured the service will match this exciting new restaurant in the famous Garden District, we are looking forward to our first trip!Chef Michael Brewer just so happens to be the 2006 Tales of the Cocktail bartender of the year....soooooo much talent, so much fun....all under one roof!

Harrah's New Orleans -This is truly a tremendously fun part of New Orleans. Reopened in early 06 and even more fun and exciting than pre-Katrina. Fabulous sushi and Asian delights at the Bambu restaurant we ate until we hurt and then went back for more, some of the best Sushi we have ever eaten. Steak anyone? Then try the John Besh Steakhouse... "Besh is dealing serious steaks and refined compliments like foie gras, Louisiana oysters and rare ahi tuna in the 150 seat restaurant. The wine list is deep on established French and California wineries and emerging regions like Austria" ~ New Orleans Gourmet or dine on fine American cuisine with an international flavor while drinking fabulous authentically brewed German lagers at Gordon Biersch, this coupled with a fabulous buffet or the jamming Masquerade's with the famous "ice bar" and beautiful dancers....did I mention they also offer the best gaming around...We loved it whether eating, drinking, gaming or taking in the shows....CFM has had an opportunity to stay at the NEW Harrah's Hotel and Riche the newest dining dynamo from Chef Todd English which is receiving rave reviews! The hotel was impeccable, from the moment we walked in, the service was EXCEPTIONAL and everything you expect from Harrah's was there in spades (excuse the pun). The suite and rooms we stayed in were spacious and the view from our suite was perfect, watching the ship traffic go by on the Mississippi while sipping a nice cup of coffee in the morning mwhat could be better. The convenience of the hotel (5 minute walk to the French Quarter), right next to the casino, only complimented the cleaniliness and elegance and ammenities of the rooms. The guests we spoke with throughout our stay only echoed our comments and mentioned they would stay here anytime they were in New Orleans. The service could not have been better anything we asked for we received, directions, mailing of packages, to the continued update of lost equipment. We highly recommend a stay at Harrah's you will thank us for this one.
